I co-founded Kory York in 2017, shaping the brand from its initial idea to its day-to-day reality.
From the beginning, my role covered both vision and execution: defining the identity, designing the logo, developing products, and managing communication, photography, orders, logistics and customer relationships.
Kory York grew as a non-industrial project focused on handmade bicycle frames and accessories. Alongside the creative direction, I worked as a product designer, following the development of most handmade components and custom frame geometries, deepening my understanding of materials, construction and production processes.
Over the years, this experience became a full, hands-on practice rather than a purely conceptual role. Parts of this journey are documented in my books, through interviews and personal reflections that offer insight into the brand’s approach and evolution.
In 2024, I stepped away from Kory York. Letting go of something I had built so closely was not easy, but it marked the beginning of a new, independent path with a personal project called KOLE / Kitsune Outland.
